Characters: Alicia Spinnet and Viktor Krum
Setting: Their home, mid-morning
Content: TBD
Status: Open: Private
The standing joke between the Healers Alicia had worked with had always been that the times of their shifts were more guidelines than something you could actually count on. Oh sure, you knew what time to show up for your shift, except when you were called in early or on your day off, but when it came time to leave it was more often that you let late than on time. You got used to it; Alicia had and she hoped that Viktor had too, though up to this point it hadn’t been a particular point of contention.
Still, she had been as quiet as humanly possible when she had slipped into bed sometime around 2 last night, after her evening shift had stretched past midnight with the effort of saving the fingers of an unfortunate witch. She hated the fact that she had disturbed his sleep, though had still smiled when he had wrapped himself around her and had gone back to sleep mere moments before she had drifted off too.
Several hours later, when light had streamed into the room, she began to wake. She didn’t hurry it, though, knowing that she had the day off and could take her time waking up. Maybe it was the sound of his breathing, or maybe she was just so attuned to his presence already, but she didn’t have to turn around to know that Viktor was in the other half of the bed. Rolling over, she draped her arm over his waist and rubbed her cheek against his chest, following it with a gentle kiss. “Mmm,” she hummed contently, snuggling close to him. “Didn’t know you’d still be here.”

Soon enough there would be little ones running around their home, and he was certain that would give him more aches and pains, but that would be well worth it. "Later, ve go svim, da? Picnic dinner on beach? So rare dat ve both haff evening together," he suggested, murmuring against the shell of her ear. There was a lot more he wanted to do just then, but he didn't want to be late to the meeting, either.

She had an idea what he was thinking, but she wasn’t certain. “Mmm, picnic dinner on the beach,” she purred, smiling as she nodded. “I’ll get a basket ready so we can leave when you’re back. Maybe go down to the other island, for some…” she turned around to look up at him, tilting her head slightly. “…privacy?” An undisturbed evening on the beach with Viktor; that would be the perfect ending to a day that started out with waking up together. “I’ve been thinking,” she continued softly as she reached for the wash cloth and began washing Viktor, her mind back to the thoughts he had spurred when his hands had caressed her belly. “About… Maybe stop taking the potion every morning?” While she didn’t doubt that Viktor wanted children, and she knew she was at the point where she felt ready to start as well, they hadn’t talked about when the right time for her to stop taking that foul tasting potion every morning would be.

"Privacy, good, da," Viktor replied with a lazy grin that faded when Alicia made her suggestion. His expression grew serious as he nodded firmly. "Da, no more potion," he stated more firmly, emboldened by her own question that wasn't really a question. If Alicia was suggesting that, it meant she, too, was ready.
