I've re-stocked the Medical Center & am working on more stores. If anyone is in need of bolstering their private potions collection, feel free to come by my house (you can find me on the map of Settlement 1 in your datapads) to buy, barter, or trade (only legal trades/bartering are welcome here).

All potions are within regulation and I'm employed by the Ministry and the Med Center to supply their potions, so you can trust my work.

I've got mild sleeping potions, pepper-ups (though I'll only sell those to certain personnel), burn salves, a few other mild healing concoctions as well. Please keep in mind I'm only one wizard with one lab, so I might run out or not have what you need in stock, I'm also not in any way trained concerning Healers work, so I won't diagnose anything.

In the meantime, stay safe all.

What in the world is going on? I can't sleep at all. All I do is pace around. Any healers have a suggestion how to fix this?

Needless to say, with all these ... activities... work certainly hasn't been boring.

Am I the only one who isn't looking forward to the full moon?

The new wards are holding on the cargo ships. Merlin only knows it's taken long enough to get that straightened out. Our first successful test of the Floo connection to Australia went through brilliantly - granted we only sent over a small bird, but I wasn't going to risk a wizard or witch on magic I only vaguely remembered from my childhood.

I'll be back at the colony this afternoon and available for drinks at the World's End after I debrief Shacklebolt.

James, if any citizen wishes to co-habitat, they don't need permission to do so. Just update your residency on the main database - that sends a prompt to the planning committee so we can reassign the vacant property to a new refuge and their family.

At the present time, we cannot allow for new construction outside of the settlements, due to several issues such as security, energy generation and space requirements. Given the size of the settlements and the new one being finalized on Australia, there's plenty of room for movement now but that will be changing in the near future as we reach maximum population capacity.

I do apologize for not returning your message sooner. Somehow, it got shunted into the 'spam' file.

I went to the Vultures-Macaws game yesterday and had a surprisingly good time. Never thought I'd get to see those two teams play, actually. The atmosphere in the crowd was really nice, too. (And in the pub afterwards!) I think I might try and go to a match next time my shifts allow.

The weekend has to come to an end, though. It's not even Monday morning yet and I just have a feeling that this next week is going to seem so very long.

Bloody hell I'm rubbish at keeping up with things. It's not that I lost my datapad but I more or less forgot about this journal thing. Life has been well.

Research has been coming along quite well, I've made my own notes about how I feel with and without the potion, and it's quite fascinating how the trends are. I won't bore you with too many details of that though.

Work has kept me fairly busy. Downtimes have been just as nice, unless James is trying to see if he can still outdrink me (the answer is yes. He hasn't yet had the privilege of being over 30 and a lower tolerance, at least that's what I am claiming).

That character thing, I guess you could call it, that went around was absurd. Do you realize there are no sheep whatsoever on this island? How is someone supposed to shepherd sheep without sheep? I guess that's a good reason why they were lost. They never came home, either.

Thankfully I didn't wear a dress. That would have never been lived down.

How're you folks?

Minister, I was speaking with Lily the other day and got thinking, how does it work if someone wants to build their own home here on the settlement? Specifically by the beach? Or if people want to... I don't know, move from their assigned house to another? It's just thoughts, and I'd appreciate it if we could keep the conversation between us, but I'd really just like to do my research, I suppose.

I have to say, the weather here is best around 4 o'clock in the morning. Over at the Portal we get a nice cool breeze to break up the humidity. It hasn't been as hot here this week as it was over the last few months, since arriving, that's for sure, but that breeze is just such a nice change of pace. Well, other than the hurricane at least. I could certainly do without another of those, even if a change of weather is otherwise welcome.

Anyone else find themselves sometimes missing the fog and cool rain of London?

Happy hour at the World's End after work sounded good for just a second until I remembered that I have practice tomorrow. First Falcons match at the weekend. Got to stay focussed. Looking forward to it, but I think it's going to be hard work. Should have time for a run tonight while dinner's cooking.
