Anyone have any charm suggestions for keeping this sulfur smell out of our belongings? I swear no matter how much of my free time I spend airing out and spelling fans around the place, the smell is inescapable. Thanks in advance.

I have to say, the weather here is best around 4 o'clock in the morning. Over at the Portal we get a nice cool breeze to break up the humidity. It hasn't been as hot here this week as it was over the last few months, since arriving, that's for sure, but that breeze is just such a nice change of pace. Well, other than the hurricane at least. I could certainly do without another of those, even if a change of weather is otherwise welcome.

Anyone else find themselves sometimes missing the fog and cool rain of London?

Just thinking of you. And how oddly comfortable this feels. My parents were muggles, so I feel a bit like a kid again, before I got my letter, if that makes any sense.

Birthday yesterday passed without any fuss, just the way I like it. Honestly my mind's been in the clouds, if Lisa hadn't given me a pint on the house (nosey little woman, no clue how she learned what my birthday was) I probably wouldn't have even remembered the date myself.

Have Saturday morning off, planning on checking out the market and attempting to do some cooking of my own this week, anyone have any suggestions? I haven't worked with the local fair much and don't know which stalls or items I should be keeping an eye out for.
