Date: 31. July, 2002
Characters: Alicia Spinnet and Viktor Krum
Setting: Their home, mid-morning
Content: TBD
Status: Open: Private
The standing joke between the Healers Alicia had worked with had always been that the times of their shifts were more guidelines than something you could actually count on. Oh sure, you knew what time to show up for your shift, except when you were called in early or on your day off, but when it came time to leave it was more often that you let late than on time. You got used to it; Alicia had and she hoped that Viktor had too, though up to this point it hadn’t been a particular point of contention.
Still, she had been as quiet as humanly possible when she had slipped into bed sometime around 2 last night, after her evening shift had stretched past midnight with the effort of saving the fingers of an unfortunate witch. She hated the fact that she had disturbed his sleep, though had still smiled when he had wrapped himself around her and had gone back to sleep mere moments before she had drifted off too.
Several hours later, when light had streamed into the room, she began to wake. She didn’t hurry it, though, knowing that she had the day off and could take her time waking up. Maybe it was the sound of his breathing, or maybe she was just so attuned to his presence already, but she didn’t have to turn around to know that Viktor was in the other half of the bed. Rolling over, she draped her arm over his waist and rubbed her cheek against his chest, following it with a gentle kiss. “Mmm,” she hummed contently, snuggling close to him. “Didn’t know you’d still be here.”

Date: 2013-07-31 06:58 pm (UTC)As such, many well-made plans had been pushed aside or back for most of the players, Viktor included. Even with the stand-off between most of the players and the League management, the games still progressed regularly, with practice taking place after the teams recreated their own schedules around their new primary jobs. That meant that Viktor was getting home at odd hours which frequently differed from Alicia's.
When she slipped into bed in the middle of the night, Viktor roused just enough to roll onto his side, dragging Alicia into the curve of his body with deep, sleepy, rumbling Bulgarian words of affection before he dropped back into sleep once more. The sun was peeking around the window covering when he felt the soft whisper of her arm and cheek, automatically curling his arm around her with a lazy, sleepy grin as he opened his eyes. Her words filtered through his unconscious mental translation quickly, and Viktor pressed a kiss to her hair before responding. "Dragon mating begin soon. Charlie vant meet. Intern do feed early. Vhat time you come home?"
