Anyone else very ready for a day on the beach after this storm? I swear, we're still looking at a few hours worth of nasty weather and I'm going bonkers. Been in my lab here at the house the last two days trying to ignore the thunder. Jumpy hands do not a good potion make.

*** POSSIBLE WEATHER ALERT ***

Our meteorologists are seeing signs that a monsoon might be rolling across our little section of the world sometime beginning after 10 p.m. this evening and continuing for upwards of 48 hours. Hurricane force winds are expected to gain after 6 p.m. tomorrow.

Currently, we have no reason to assume the worst, however, they are concerned about apparation over the next 48 hours due to elevated levels of passive radiation from solar flares in the atmosphere above us.

All trans-dimensional travel is be hereby suspended for the next 48 hours. All research teams are to return to their settlements unless they have sufficient cover from the storm in the field. All fishing vessels are to return to dock in the next ten hours to secure all ships prior to the storm. All land vehicles must be returned to their sheltered parking areas by tomorrow afternoon.

There is no need for concern for anyone sheltering in place - every building in our new world was built, designed, and warded against the most severe turns in the weather. Rope lines are being secured around the Command complex in each settlement for safety if you absolutely must venture outside.
