[Private to Cecilia & Lisa]
Hey ladies! It appears the public herb garden at the World's End is all set for the public to enjoy! We've had some really good luck with the dill, basil, fennel, and lemongrass. The garlic and lavender are coming along well, too. If either of you want to make an announcement? I official leave this all in your hands. Enjoy!

Thinking of grabbing a pint after the match today - anyone up for it? Shacklebolt's Folly? World's End?

Date: 2013-07-27 08:50 pm (UTC)Adrian, that's brilliant! I thought I saw green things out front but couldn't have told you what any of them were.
If Adrian doesn't want to take the credit, Cecilia, do you want to make the announcement? I certainly can't take any praise for this - it's all you two!
Thanks again, looking forward to using some fresh, amazing dill in our stews this week.
Oh yeah - what's the best system for people who want to take things? We can't have it all taken right away, right? Will there be a mob? Maybe if they want to take things they have to plant something, too? But then, I don't want amateurs ruining all your lovely work!
Any suggestions? Have either of you done public gardening before? Perhaps Kingsley would have some ideas?
Well, I leave it up to you!
Thank you AGAIN.

Date: 2013-07-29 10:37 am (UTC)Not in a million years! This is your project, your ideas brought to life. I simply consulted and dropped seeds into the soil that Adrian turned. Seriously; all credit for this goes to you two.
Perhaps we should drop an annonymous note to Shacklbolt, let him do it?
Lisa, I like the idea, that in order for people to take something, they have to bring something, although help should be available, since my guess would be that some of the users will be using it because they lack the skills or knowledge of how to do it themselves.

Date: 2013-08-03 08:43 pm (UTC)Fine, fine, fine. Lisa, this all on you, then. We're manual labor and not public relations, it seems.
Let's asked people to simply share what they've made from it, eh?
Enjoy, ladies, and I'll see you around the pub soon, I'm sure.

Another good idea. Maybe a mix of both? If they don't have any plants to share, then perhaps they can share finished goods?
