James'd had a lovely afternoon with Lily, lying out on the beach and even getting out into the water a bit, she'd looked especially incredible in her two piece and the thought had him nearly floating - without magic - all the way to the pub after apparating home for a quick shower to get rid of the sand in his toes and to change clothes. Now in his typical denims and sweater/t-shirt combo, he entered the pub to catch up with the youngest Weasley.

Waving hello to Lisa, who gave him a look as if to say it's a school night, behave, he smiled wide and took a seat at the bar, asking his favorite waitress in the all the wizarding world for a bottle of whiskey, on him, to share with Gin. Lisa couldn't help but give him a suspicious look and laughing he explained, "She's my drinking buddy now - Lily's not big on it and the guys have gotten older... A bloke has to have a good drinking buddy." Laughing with him, Lisa ran out back to grab a bottle and then took his order for split pea and ham soup and hard bread for dinner. With his soup she brought him a glass of water and two shot glasses for the harder stuff and wished him a good night.

James waited for Ginny, sipping his water and fairly well inhaling his thick soup, the sun and swimming having done a number of his growing-boy appetite.

She'd spent the day doing rounds with trainees and the Muggle doctor, having the opportunity to set a broken bone for them. Since she was their newest Healer trained in Muggle techniques, and being so young, the Senior Healer thought it would show the new trainees more acceptance to have her shadow their rounds. Ginny didn't mind, she enjoyed teaching more than she thought she would, plus it gave her the chance to practice some of the Muggle skills again since the return of magic.

A quick shower and change into jeans and a t-shirt, then Ginny was apparating over to the World's End. She stopped and had a chat with one of the trainees on the deck before going inside where she easily found James Potter at the bar. Taking the stool next to him, Ginny laughed. "I see you've planned ahead," gesturing to the shot glasses. She looked at what he was eating. "Is that pea soup? Hmm, I think I'll just go with a plate of chips." She told Lisa who wandered closer. "And a glass of water, please. Might as well level the playing field, right?"
