Characters: Cecilia Proudfoot and Charlie Weasley
Setting: The Ark, late morning
Content: Very Mature
Status: Open: Private, Complete
Striding up to the counter in the main building by the Ark entrance, Cecilia held up her identification card to the man there. “Cecilia Proudfoot,” she introduced herself. “I have a 9 o’clock arrangement for a guide to help me retrieve plant samples.”
“Proudfoot…” the man muttered, checking over a list before he nodded and looked back up at her. “Yes, yeah, that’s still on. If you’ll just stick around, I’ll send them your way, yeah?”
Cecilia sent him a smile and nodded. “Is it alright if I wait outside?” The man nodded and again she nodded that she had understood, and went outside to take a seat on the steps leading down to the open place in front of the building.
With her backpack between her feet she started rummaging through it, checking to make sure that she had everything she needed. Clippers and bags for samples, her water bottle – which she moved to the outer pocket for easier access – and protective gloves, just in case. Looking down at the bottle, she rethought that decision. Yes, it was an unreasonably warm day and she would need the water, but it would keep cooler inside the backpack. Rather than make it less accessible, she cast a cooling Charm on it, and tightened the band that would keep it in place.
As she sat there on the steps, watching the people that milled by, she couldn’t help but notice their clothes. Maybe she wasn’t exactly dressed to be around animals, but she had found it too warm to wear anything but her boots, shorts and tank top. Oh well, she would have to Transfigure what she had if need be.
Pulling out the bottle of water, she took a long drink and let the delightful calm settle in her.

A light sheen off sweat was the physical proof of his efforts that she could taste. Cecilia tilted her head up a little, just enough to watch his face. She knew he was handsome, but the sight of him this relaxed, this sated took her breath away. He was beautiful, there was no other word for it, and she felt a joy that she had been able to give him this, and she knew without a doubt that she would spend the rest of her life making him happy. For all she cared, this didn’t have to be just a short nap, she thought as sleep began to take her over, if she could be in Charlie’s arms, she would happily spent the rest of eternity like this.
