Date: November 23, 2001, afternoon
Characters: Adrian Pucey, Ginny Weasley
Setting: Settlement 1, pub & then the air
Content: G
Status: Public: Open
Adrian could hardly contain himself as he waited for Ginny to join him at the pub. He had awoken late last night to a knock on his duplex's door, and figuring it was something to do with business he'd quickly thrown on shorts and a t-shirt before answering the front door. And there they stood. His parents, looking annoyed and normal, and his sister looking very tired and incredibly pregnant and Will, beaming at him like they'd all just won the lottery. And really, they had.
The hugs and catching up and chattering late into the night was out of character for all of them, but they had done it anyway and so he now sat at the pub with a strong cup of tea in front of him, waiting for his new friend to join him for lunch and a social flight while family was dealing with moving into their duplex just down the street from him (his parents on one side, his sister, Will, and the eventual baby on the other) and learning the ropes from their datapads and Ministry employees.
Hardly able to stay in his seat he sipped his tea and bit his bottom lip, sure that his eyes were sparkling like some ridiculous cartoon puppy with a new toy.

"So, lunch? Before our flight? My treat." He beamed at her.

"Just the chips for me," she answered with a quick smile. "You couldn't have gotten much sleep last night. Are you sure you're up for flying?"

"Hm, evening on the deck, stars, warm air..." Adrian looked around and smiled, "Maybe after our flight we'll want to come back," he said cheekily.

"That'd be nice," she agreed with a smile, digging into her food. "If you aren't ready to pass out by then. That second wind you're on won't last all night."
