"All right," she agreed, setting her notebook to the side and standing. Ginny closed her eyes for a moment, gathering her thoughts, pulling forward the memory of the spells she wanted to layer. Swirling her wand counter clockwise, she mouthed the words without speaking, and a soft gold thread of light wound around his ankles, curling upward, just barely visible as it moved under his clothing.
Ginny halted the spell at his waist level. Blinking, she closed her eyes again. Scars were not the easiest to lessen to the surface of the skin, and it drained her. Taking a steadying breath, she cast the spell again, holding it tight as it began working its way up his chest and arms, ending itself just over the ridge of his eyebrows. She reached out to steady herself on the back of the sofa.
