I'm not sure who disliked the storm more, me or Duke. Poor little guy was seriously agitated and I don't know if that was because he'd never experienced anything like it before or because of his Crup sensitivity to magic. Either way, I ended up tripping over him and twisted my ankle, which made things all the more unpleasant. Thank goodness I had some nice, soothing tea in the house to help while away the hours! Company would have been better, of course, but I could hardly walk and I hate doing first aid spells on myself.

Dad's making a lot of fuss about his garden getting ruined, but I think he's secretly relishing the idea of getting stuck in to restoring it.

I hope you stayed safe during the storm. I know you probably did, but I also know you've been working a lot lately. It's silly of me to worry, but I can't seem to stop myself.

Would you like me to stop by and take a look at your ankle?

I spent the storm at the Pub, just in case Lisa had needed any help with crowd control (and because I tend to eat and drink for free there, of course).

I hope your home is alright? I'm sorry to hear about your ankle, are you staying off of it?

Once you're feeling up for it... of course, you've probably already had it magicked back to perfect health anyway, would you like to meet me for coffee? I've missed seeing you on duty.
