After the other evening with Lily, hearing how upset she was, how much she missed her life and her family, Sirius knew there was only one thing he could do to really make a difference for her - try to straighten out James. Which wouldn't be easy, he knew, since this James wasn't seeing the benefits of commitment to Lily over the short skirts and bathing suits that romped all over the settlements. All the more reason to try to talk some sense into him, Sirius mused gravely as he showered and changed into his normal attire of jeans and a t-shirt.
He felt a bit lightheaded but attributed that to not having a huge breakfast, so he grabbed a muffin off the counter and downed it before leaving his place. It was a quick apparation over to the media center where James monitored the programming and equipment for the settlements. The path was clear and Sirius found it a bit strange though the media center was in a quiet area of the settlement. He let himself into the shop front and headed toward the back, where James normally worked.
