“Oh, thank Godric,” Alicia breathed, truly relieved to hear that both mother and child was doing fine. “I’ll look in on them for you when I go into work later.” Maybe, if she was lucky, there would be some free time where she could devote some time to help out with the fussy babies there. That was one difference from St. Mungo’s that she appreciated here; if no other patients needed Healing, it was perfectly acceptable to take a break and simply sit with one of the babies.
“I’m sure Trisha’s proud,” she assured her, knowing how proud she, herself, was of Ginny right now, and she didn’t even have anything to do with her training. “So tell me, what else is going on with your life?” Picking up her glass of ice tea, she offered it to Ginny by turning the straw in her direction. “I know I should be checking the messages, but forget to do it, unless it’s for me and I get a notification about it.”
