Between work, a bit of volunteering at the school and keeping an eye on my new Crup, Duke, I feel like I'm being kept on my toes. Not that Duke thinks he needs looking after, of course. Whenever I give him free reign of the house, he parades around as though he's inspecting the place. I think I made the right choice with his name: it's as though my house is his little kingdom!

Of course, when I take him out for walks, he seems to be leading me. He has a strong personality, I suppose, and I have to say I'm glad he's come into my life. And what a lovely surprise that was!
