James heard a familiar voice speaking to the young witch behind the bar and turned, "Lily?! Lily Evans!" It had been ages since he'd seen her before he'd ended up here, probably since they finished school, and while he had never been her favorite, when they'd dated it had ended amicably enough and he counted her among his favorite people in the world.
She looked a little different than he remembered, but he figured the time apart accounted for that, not the time... difference.
He stood and was immediately in front of her leaning in for a hug, "You look fantastic! Guess you got sucked here right around the time I did, huh?"
