RP: Christmas Eve at the World's End

Lisa was glad it was Christmas Eve, it seemed somehow so normal compared to every day life in the Settlements. She had decorated the pub a week earlier, magicked fairy lights covered every eve outside and she had made a sort of green garland to wrap around the polls inside, and taken her own ribbons to add red everywhere. It was still stinking hot in Settlement One, so she kept the outdoor patio open but added charmed fireplaces (with fake, cold flames) for atmosphere. She added brightly colored baubles that she'd brought over with her from the pub in London on every possible limb and long blade of grass throughout the land the pub sat on.
Her parents - Kenneth & Marie - had come by for lunch and they had exchanged small trinkets of party hats and snappers. They would gather to properly exchange gifts in the morning, before the had to be back here to open the Pub for anyone who didn't feel like cooking a Christmas dinner.
Humming to herself, she put the finishing touches on the tinsel she was spreading even more of around and headed to the kitchen to pick some wines and stir the stew.
A merry Christmas Eve indeed!
