Following him to the sofa, she took a seat next to him, turning to face him while she rested her elbow on the back of the sofa and her head on her hand. "You review our notes?" she asked him, with a chuckling smile and small burst of self-awareness. "Well, guess I'd better start putting some effort into making them more interesting from now on, don't I?" With a small wink at him, she took a larger drink from her glass, and let it come down to rest on her thigh. "So, that's what you like to do? Auto repairs?" Her question was genuine; she wanted to know what he liked to do, where his interest were and what kept him going despite all the reasons she had heard from him to not do so.
