Alicia bit her lips to keep from grinning at the doubtful look on Ginny's face. She somewhat understood the other witch's hesitation about it, but aside from the pain and the itching, she didn't recall wearing the cast as something unpleasant. Instead she likened it to when her mum had put a coloured plaster on a scraped knee; it hurt like dragon-fire, but it was dead wicked.
Leaning forward, somewhat mirroring Ginny's motion Alicia lowered her voice. "Keep this a secret, but I find it interesting too," she said conspiratorially, then sat back with a slight shrug. "I find it fascinating, so don't worry about sounding like a geek. And that's the end of work talk, at least for now." Under the table she crossed one leg over the other, making herself comfortable. "I'm... pretty much settled in. All the boxes has been unpacked, and my spare-room has been turned into a bit of a supply storage with, well, you wouldn't believe half of what I found in the boxes from home," she chuckled. "But I'm still Transfiguring my furniture. Haven't quite found the right ones yet, but it'll come. How about you?"
