Adrian was surprised by how many familiar faces he'd seen the day before, between the Portal and then the drive to the settlement. He was shown to a small place that would be his, a duplex from the look of things (much larger than his flat had been in London, anyway), and he'd wondered throughout the night who his neighbor might be.
His first morning in the Settlement, he headed for the group of public structures for a late breakfast and some household goods.
One familiar face stuck out in the crowd, he was surprised to find - the youngest Weasley, who he used to fly against in school and who he'd seen in passing when working with the hospital on potions and healing herbs. Hmm... St. Mungo's. Another place he'd most likely never see again. Adrian wondered for a moment when those sorts of thoughts would fade, or if they ever would.
"Weasley," Adrian called out, not much above the crowd, as people milled about seemingly getting settled in the same way he was. Adrian was sure he looked a bit lost, being here completely alone, surrounded by families and everyone carrying picturesque baskets for their shopping (Adrian had simply emptied his backpack and brought that with him), and he worried he might stick out, so he made his way over to the petite witch and hoped she remembered him from work.
